Rotorstock 5 in association with the Mazda Rotary Club
Slap-bang in the middle of summer, Rotorstock is a chilled-out yet packed weekend for anyone into Japanese cars (not just Mazdas). Popular with clubs, and featuring unique activities, Rotorstock has been tweaked for 2008 to include inter-club Run What Ya Brung competitions, Drift What Ya Brung, the amazing HKS Drag Series and of course the Run What Ya Brung competition.
What's on at Rotorstock 5?
| Run What Ya Brung: Get your own car on the famous quarter mile, and get involved in the Run What Ya Brung competition! Featuring simple classes to find the fastest FWD, RWD and 4WD road cars in the UK. RWYB is for Japanese cars only and is £20 per day for unlimited runs on Saturday and Sunday, Saturday includes evening session. Please bring your driving licence if you want to sign on to use the track. |

NEW for 2008: An inter-club Run What Ya Brung competition with eliminations! There be dedicated sessions for clubs to get on track together on Saturday and then the top cars from each club will take on rival clubs in proper drag-style eliminations on Sunday! |

| HKS Drag Series: The fastest Japanese cars in Europe converge on the Pod for the 3rd round of the HKS Drag Series. With wheelie-poppin’ RX7’s, speeds of over 170mph and low-8 second quarter miles, this is the fastest race action a Japanese car fan can witness! |

| Club Displays and Camping: Huge club displays available to all Japanese car clubs, not just Mazdas! Club camping is available to all with weekend tickets. Club Stand spaces are available on a first-come, first served basis, so the first booked will get the tarmac display areas. Bulk-booking all your tickets through your club events organiser will get you a MASSIVE DISCOUNT on weekend tickets: Tickets will be just £15 per person for the whole weekend! |

Meguiars Show & Shine Competition: Rotorstock 5 hosts a show car competition for anyone with a great-looking Japanese car. Classic, modern or modified, get parked up in the Meguiar's Show Car Paddock from 9:30am on Sunday, and get polishing.
We’re picking the top 3 cars for trophies and announcing the winners at 1pm. The Show & Shine paddock is free to enter, just turn up on the day.

In addition, the events host (Mazda Rotary Club) will be sending out spotters out around site from an impartial club to find the best, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mazda and Other (e.g. Suzuki, Daihatsu etc) to present “Manufacturer Trophies”. They will be hunting in the club areas and Meguiar's Show Paddock, and announcing these winners at 1pm also.

| Traders: There will a variety of traders at Rotorstock 5 including specialist jap car traders, offering everything for you and your car from body kits to decals. |

There will also be Bar & Catering facilities to suit every taste, healthy or deep-fried the choice is yours! |

| Drift Track with demos and “Drift What Ya Brung”: Pro drift demo sessions for spectators and NEW for 2008: Santa Pod’s runaway success of Drift What Ya Brung comes to Rotorstock! Anyone with a driftable car can get out on the track and learn the basics burning rubber. Sessions cost from £30 and include tuition from expert drifters. |
